LOLER, PUWER and PSSR compliance
Every inspection is a statutory Thorough Examination conducted by a qualified, independent Engineer Surveyor — delivering a clear, photographic digital report that duty holders can rely on for HSE compliance.
Lifting Equipment Inspections
Hoists, slings, dock levellers, pallet trucks and lifting accessories — inspected under LOLER Regulation 9.
Interval: 12-monthly (6-monthly for accessories)
Crane Inspections
Tower cranes, mobile cranes, overhead travelling cranes and loader cranes — Thorough Examination by competent person.
Interval: 12-monthly (6-monthly for lifting persons)
Passenger & Goods Lift Inspections
Passenger lifts, goods lifts, platform lifts and dumbwaiters in commercial and residential buildings.
Interval: 6-monthly (12-monthly for goods-only)
Work at Height Equipment
MEWPs, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, mast climbers and fall arrest systems — statutory 6-monthly examination.
Interval: 6-monthly
Mobile Plant Inspections
Telehandlers, excavators with lifting duties, forklifts and rough terrain plant — covered by LOLER and PUWER.
Interval: 12-monthly
Firefighting & Evacuation Lift Inspections
BS EN 81-72 firefighting lifts and BS EN 81-76 evacuation lifts — specialist examination including fire-mode.
Interval: 6-monthly
Garage Equipment Inspections
Vehicle lifts, axle stands, jacks, MOT brake testers and ramps — LOLER and PUWER examination for garages and HGV workshops.
Interval: 12-monthly
PSSR Inspections
Air receivers, steam boilers, autoclaves, café boilers and pressure vessels. Independent thorough examination and Written Scheme of Examination drafting under PSSR 2000.
Interval: 14 / 26 / 72-monthly (per WSE)
